Every year for a as long as anyone can remember, the anglophone section of the CIV (Centre International de Valbonne) organizes a Walkathon. Students get friends, relatives, neighbors, and so on, to sponsor them by agreeing to pay them a certain amount per kilometer they run or walk. In addition, there is, of course, food to be consumed. All the proceeds go to purchase seeing eye dogs for seeing-impaired people. The following gallery contains a few snapshots of the 2013 edition of the CIV walkathon.
