The city of Cannes in the south of France puts on a variety of firework displays every summer. This one, performed by the Baku Fireworks Group of Azerbaijan, was shown on July 4, 2013. It didn't have anything to do with Independence Day per se, but just before things got underway, the speaker announced (in French and English), "Ladies and Gentlemen, please rise for the national anthem of the Unites States of America." The Star-Spangled Banner was then played before the first rockets went up. Very nice!

For those who care about this sort of thing, the clip was shot from one of my living room windows with a Panasonic Lumix TZ20 (called ZS10 in the United States) on a tripod and with scene mode "Fireworks" (duh!) selected. The entire display lasted almost 25 minutes, so this video shows just parts of the show.
