The photos in this gallery are to supplement those posted on
this page of my web site. All are tests and were shot on ISO 400 Kodak Portra daylight film using a
Minolta SR-T-303 camera and three Minolta lenses. Note that I am in the process of re-learning to use this fully manual camera; one of the things I haven't mastered yet is to focus accurately. This shows especially with large apertures and the resulting shallow depth of field as is plainly visible with the two photos titled "Sculpure"; both were taken at the "Business as Usual" exhibit in the Gregg Museum of Art & Design on NC State Campus. After all, I have not used this camera in well over twenty years, so I can't be expected to become proficient with it overnight! For more details on my experience shooting film, please see
the corresponding page on my web site.
