On August 20, 2024, I was treated to a wonderful tour of the old part of Aix by a great guide: my friend Didier who has lived in this beautiful town for many years. It was a delight to see all the sites and listen to what can only be described as expert commentary. After a delicious lunch, Didier drove me along the foot of the Montagne Sainte Vicoire, something that obviously brought back many memories of our 2007 hike. I've gone shooting on several occasions with Didier, and every time it's been an absolute pleasure, so I guess we will keep up these occasional photographic get-togethers.
